Chief Movement Officer
For the past decade, Colin’s vocation and passion in life has been improving your quality of life through fitness and movement. His years of practical and applied knowledge working the most physically limited to physically gifted, give Colin a unique perspective and undeniable edge in helping clients and patients reach their goals. He has been fortunate enough to be featured in USA Today for his success with working with Weight Loss Clients, has assisted in teaching the Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification and continues to educate new trainers in the field through a variety of workshops and college courses. His academic pedigree includes, a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and he continues to teach University Level Course at American University.
He continually improves his working knowledge through continuing education and staying abreast of new research and education. He is licensed in the State of Maryland as a Chiropractic Assistant, is certified through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and as a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS). In addition, Colin holds the distinction of SFG Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor, the gold standard in kettlebell training. In his free time he enjoys lifting heavy things over his head and crawling for time and distance.
As the Chief Movement Officer (CMO) Got Your Back Total Health, he manages the rehabilitation and movement programming for all patients, including screening and tracking progress of each patient. His passion for movement and teaching as well as the family and team atmosphere at GYBTH are the driving forces that keep him motivated.
Joey is a certified Medical Assistant who recieved his certificate from MedTech. At Got Your Back Total Health, Joey ensures that all patients have a positive experience and are properly progressing through their treatment plan. Joey coordinates the initial intake, movement rehab, and re-examination of patients. He is responsible for recording the progression of each patient's movement, vital signs, and posture. He works closely with Dr. Klein and Colin to cater to the individual needs of each patient and ensure their prescribed plan is correctly followed.
